Post 1!!! Yay!!!!
It’s official. I gave up on the impossible mess that is WordPress.
My next battles are to beat the dreaded altitude sickness and jet lag.
This post is not so much an update, more of a welcome and a getting things up and running. So firstly, may I say welcome, and thank you for coming (or coloming[1]) on this crazy, other-side-of-the-worldly train with me.
Secondly, odds are if you are reading this, you probably know who I am. But just in case, let me introduce myself.
Howdy, I'm Milly, I'm a queer woman with chronic pain who is spending the next month of my life in Bogotá (Thank you Massey University and Education New Zealand). Join me as I make the most of my time here in Colombia, and give a couple of tips when you inevitably want to come here yourself. I plan to focus on my own experiences with being queer and disabled, but am hoping to also hear from some locals (yay!) Either way, it's going to be a journey, so in my humble, unbiased opinion you should stick around.
And thirdly, this is an assessment! For the love of my grades, please interact any way you can! I would really appreciate any sort of sharing, commenting, or whatever you can do because to be brutally honest I have no idea how any of this works.
That's all for this post and I'm looking forward to having you follow along with me[2]. As a reward for making it this far, have some cool photos I've taken thus far. My highlight so far would be the Fragmentos exhibition[3]. :-)
Footnotes:
1. Ba dum tssh
2. You've read too far now. Now you have to come back.
3. More to come on that later.
you should invest in a neocities site frfr
ReplyDeletealso, hi assessors. Don't even have to say this - she's probably coerced you already - but please give Milly a good grade :-)

henry
